YSJ SETS ANOTHER ALL-TIME PASSENGER RECORD
SAINT JOHN, NB – Saint John Airport Inc. celebrates their best monthly Passenger Traffic Results in the airport’s history.
The Saint John Airport is proud to announce a new all-time record for Total Monthly Passengers. “In August, 31,856 people flew via the Saint John Airport,” said YSJ President and CEO Derrick Stanford. “That's a 17% increase versus August of last year and another record-breaking month for our airport. With this momentum, YSJ is well on our way to achieving our goal of 300,000 passengers in 2018.”
August marks the eighth consecutive month that the airport has exceeded their passenger traffic results versus the same month in the prior year. Passenger growth is attributed to extra flights and boosted capacity by Air Canada and Porter Airlines.
The Saint John Airport is currently served by Air Canada and Porter Airlines and offers 17 daily flights to and from Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, and Ottawa, plus seasonal sun-vacation destinations by Sunwing Airlines.
